Product Description: This product is a white powder. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, gradually oxidized to sulfate in the air, with a sulfur dioxide odor, heated and decomposed into sodium sulfate and sodium sulfide.
Application: stabilizer for artificial fibers, fabric bleach, photographic developer, deoxidizer for dyeing and bleaching industry, reducing agent for fragrances and dyes, oxygen blocking agent for tanning industry, and lignin removal agent for papermaking industry. Used in the pharmaceutical industry as a reducing agent for the production of products such as analgin, ampicillin, and sodium para aminosalicylate. The food industry produces dehydrated vegetables as reducing agents to prevent the deterioration and yellowing of green pigments in vegetables. Reducing agents are used to determine antimony, magnesium, copper, zinc, and phosphorus, as well as colorants.
