Reverse osmosis flocculant is a chemical substance with flocculation effect, mainly used to remove suspended solids, colloidal substances, and small particles in water. In reverse osmosis membrane treatment systems, it can improve the filtration efficiency of reverse osmosis membranes and extend their service life.
The principle of reverse osmosis flocculants is mainly to aggregate suspended solids in water into larger particles through charge neutralization, adsorption, and chemical reactions. Specifically, it interacts with suspended solids in water to form flocs, increasing their particle size. These large particles of flocculants can be separated by gravity precipitation or filtration to achieve the goal of purifying water quality.
